Borrowing Policies

Laptops may be checked out to CU Anschutz students, faculty and staff on a first come, first served basis. CU Anschutz students receive a five-day loan period on laptops and one renewal for another five days. CU Anschutz Faculty and Staff, and students from UCD downtown campus who register for a HSL library account, receive a limited 4-hour checkout of the laptop for in-house library use only and need to return the laptop to the Service Desk the same day before the library closes. The service desk does not reserve, book or set aside laptops for any user or group—the service is first come, first serve and primarily dedicated to individual Anschutz students.

All users must abide by the Health Sciences Library's Computer Policy. Library computer usage is subject to the CU Administrative Policy Statement 6001 Providing and Using Information Technology Policy. Unreturned laptops and other devices will generate lost bills quickly and users will be held liable for misused or unreturned devices or missing components.
